Cassie Roberge

Cassie received her bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Vermont in spring of 2017. She joined the Corr research team the following fall as a doctoral student. She graduated with her PhD in May 2022 and now holds a postdoctoral fellow position at Albany Medical College in their department of Molecular and Cellular Physiology.

Her thesis work with the Corr Lab was centered around (1) the advancement of the laser direct-write bioprinting technique for the production of capsule-based tumor spheroids, and (2) non-destructive characterization of advanced 3D in vitro tumor models. Outside of lab, she enjoys hiking, rock climbing, salsa dancing, and soccer.
